Thank You to our funders:
The Community Centre is directed by the Burnside Gorge Community
Association, a local registered charity and non-profit society.
Burnside Gorge produces a monthly Community E-Newsletter. Email us to request the
Burnside Gorge
Community News via email (write "subscribe" to the subject).
A published version of the
Burnside Gorge Community News
(distribution of 5,500) is delivered monthly to residents and
businesses in the Burnside
Gorge area.
The organization also supports the local Safety
and Land Use
Committees and holds regular community meetings.
The Community History Project was created in order to educate the public and to take pride in the vibrant history of the Burnside Gorge neighbourhood. Projects include the Burnside Heritage and Gorge Road murals and the Postcards from the Past utility box wrap project. Wraps can be found at the following intersections: Gorge/Jutland, Bay/Government, Burnside/Douglas, and Hillside/Douglas/Gorge.

share the cover on our site.
