Volunteering for Burnside Gorge allows
you
to become a part of something important. We offer volunteers the chance
to contribute to
the community and to learn new skills, as well as the satisfaction of
helping those in your neighbourhood.

Monday-Friday (closed weekends and statutory holidays).

Volunteer
opportunities include:
- Community Newsletter:
interviews, writing, research, photography.
- Environmental Initiatives:
participate in the annual Gorge Waterway
clean-up in September.
- Family Centre: Parent
& Tot programs, community hot meals.
- Reception:
flexible weekday shifts assisting in general office and receptionist
duties.
- Special Events:
Community Chest, Selkirk
Waterfront Festival, Santa Pancake Breakfast.
- Youth Centre: assist with drop-in activities and interact with youth.
